The FortiAP 222C is a high-performance dual-band 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac technology AP that supports a channel width of 80 MHz. This can achieve a 280% throughput improvement over 802.11n. Its rugged IP67 housing and extended temperature range design make this AP suitable for use in harsh environments such as oil platforms, utility stations or stadiums. The N-type antenna connections also make this AP suitable for use with high-quality external antennas for remote and mission-critical bridges for network provisioning.
