The End User WatchDog Support Per SmartZone/ virtual SmartZone AccessPoint licence gives you the option of licensing and supporting the access points connected to your controller. This licence includes first-class technical support from Ruckus around the clock, 365 days a year. It also includes important software updates and upgrades specifically for your access points.
Please note that this licence is only valid for the connected access points. A separate licence must be purchased for support of the controller itself. It is recommended to purchase licences with a similar duration to simplify administration during renewals and ensure smooth operation.
With this licence, you can ensure that your access points are always up to date and that you have reliable technical support at hand to solve potential problems quickly and efficiently. It provides comprehensive support for your wireless infrastructure and enables you to maximise the performance of your network components.

Ruckus Advanced Hardware Replacement provides a robust solution for organisations that need to rely on continuous network security and uninterrupted performance. This service option ensures a seamless transition to replacement devices in the event of a hardware failure.
Small and medium-sized venues, by definition, accommodate a smaller number of users and devices. But high-performance Wi-Fi is just as important for each and every one of them. People are still accessing the same bandwidth-hungry applications and cloud services they would elsewhere. Businesses are still connecting an ever-growing range of mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Users and guests still expect consistent and reliable connectivity wherever they go.
The Ruckus R560 Access Point offers the ideal combination of performance, reliability and coverage for medium density indoor environments. It utilizes market-leading technologies that extend range and reduce interference, delivering combined data rates of up to 4.7 Gbps.
The Ruckus R560 access point is the perfect choice for medium-density locations such as small and medium-sized businesses, common areas in hotels and office buildings, retail stores and branch offices. In hotel common areas, for example, the R560 provides high-performance wireless access. In retail stores, it can provide reliable and unobtrusive connectivity for high-quality video applications, wireless IP phones and portable point-of-sale scanners.
The Ruckus R560 Wi-Fi AP incorporates patented technologies that are unique to the Ruckus Wi-Fi portfolio.
- Extended coverage with the patented BeamFlex+, which uses multi-directional antenna patterns.
- Improve throughput with ChannelFly, which dynamically finds less congested Wi-Fi channels.
In addition, the R560 offers next-generation 802.11ax features such as MultiUser MIMO (MU-MIMO) connectivity. It can transmit to multiple client devices simultaneously, dramatically improving airtime efficiency and overall throughput for all users - even those with non-Wave 2 clients. The R560 also features built-in Bluetooth to communicate with IoT devices via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Zigbee and other Bluetooth-based protocols.
Whether you deploy ten or ten thousand APs, the R560 is also easy to manage with Ruckus' appliance, virtual and cloud management options.
Your benefits:
- ATEMPLE WI-FI PERFORMANCE
Provide a great user experience no matter how demanding the environment with BeamFlex+™ adaptive antenna technology and a library of 64 directional antenna patterns. - CONNECT MORE DEVICES
Connect multiple devices simultaneously with two MU-MIMO space streams and simultaneous dual-band 2.4/5/6GHz radios, while improving the performance of non-Wave 2 devices. - AUTOMATE THE OPTIMUM THROUGHT
ChannelFly™ dynamic channel technology uses machine learning to automatically find the least congested channels. You always get the highest throughput the band can support. - MORE MANAGEMENT OPTIONS
Manage the R560 from the cloud, with on-site physical/virtual devices or without a controller. - Better MESH NETWORKING
Reduce costly cabling and complex mesh configurations by ticking a box with SmartMesh™ wireless meshing technology to dynamically create self-forming, self-healing mesh networks. - MORE THAN WI-FI
Support services beyond Wi-Fi with Ruckus IoT Suite, Cloudpath security and onboarding software, SPoT Wi-Fi localisation engine and SCI network analytics.
The Unleashed Access Point does not require a dedicated controller to create and manage a WLAN network. Instead, one of the APs acts as a master, taking on the functions of a controller and managing the other APs as members. The unleashed access points are suitable for smaller WLAN deployments where only a small number of access points are required. Leashed access points, on the other hand, require an external controller, such as a ZoneDirector or a SmartZone, to create and manage a WLAN network. The Leashed APs are suitable for larger WLAN deployments where a large number of APs are required.
