The Sophos APX 530 access point with 3x3:3 MU-MIMO is highly flexible and suitable for medium density environments and devices with high bandwidth requirements.
The device has internal antennas, three 2.4GHz antennas and three 5GHz antennas. An additional antenna provides support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

Thanks to the Wave 2 standard, the access point is twice as fast as the Sophos AP100, with up to 2.6 gigabits per second.
Power can be supplied either via a power adapter or via PoE+ (Power over Ethernet). The device requires up to 16.7 watts of power.

You can conveniently manage the devices via Sophos Central Wireless. Since November 2018, you can also manage the new access points via the Sophox XG series firewalls. Support for the SG series has been available since UTM 9.7, which was released at the end of September 2019.
