With the Sophos RED 60, you can easily connect your large branch offices or remote sites to your central Sophos UTM. With a maximum throughput rate of up to 850 Mbps, the Sophos RED 60 is ideally equipped for broadband scenarios. The Sophos RED 60 offers you 2 WAN interfaces, which puts you in the position to implement a complete line failover. In addition, the Sophos RED 60 brings 4 Ethernet interfaces, on which even VLAN can be defined.

"Plug-and-Protect" deployment
With Sophos RED, you can easily extend your secure network to other sites. This requires no technical expertise at the remote site; simply enter the ID of your RED device into your Sophos appliance and send the device to that site. Once the device is plugged in and connected to the Internet, it will connect to your firewall and establish a secure Ethernet tunnel. That's all there is to it.
Flexible configuration
You can set up your REDs to tunnel all traffic from the remote site back to the firewall. This allows you to control DHCP and other network elements of the remote network. Or you can route only network traffic within the site through RED and allow direct Internet access from the remote site.
Secure encrypted tunnel
All data between the RED and your firewall is encrypted to the strictest AES-256 specifications. This guarantees a secure connection that cannot be tampered with or compromised by hackers. Moreover, with the encryption performance of our latest XG and SG series, this protection becomes completely transparent.
Easy centralised management
RED is basically nothing more than a virtual Ethernet cable connecting your remote sites. Therefore, centrally managing your distributed network is as easy as managing a single site. You can either apply the same firewall, internet and other security policies to local and remote traffic, or create individual policies for individual sites.
