The Ruckus Controllers listed here are no longer available as new devices (End-of-Sale) or have already reached their End-of-Life status. However, many of these models are still actively used in enterprise networks and can continue to operate with existing licenses and support contracts.
For new installations, we recommend the latest Ruckus Controller solutions such as the SmartZone series. We are happy to assist you with license renewals, ongoing support, or migration to suitable successor models.
With the support license you get firmware updates as well as access to the manufacturer's support.
You have the choice between 1, 3 or 5 years term.
The Ruckus ZoneDirector 1205 is a WLAN controller which is easy to set up and operate thanks to its intuitive interface. This also means that no special IT department is required.
Thanks to its powerful hardware and software, the controller can manage up to 150 access points at once.
The ZoneDirector 1205 is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses that want a robust, fast WLAN. This controller is also a good choice for hotspot operators.
The Ruckus ZoneDirector 1205, as well as the access points managed by it, integrates easily into existing Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks. The access points are automatically detected and configured by the Ruckus ZoneDirector 1205.
For fail-safety, it is possible to use a second Ruckus ZoneDirector 1205 as a standby device. This would then take over the tasks as a controller, should the main device fail.
Thanks to the high level of automation, there is little administrative effort. WLAN channels and transmit power are set automatically to ensure optimal coverage and the least possible interference.
