New licenses - license term starts when Sophos completes the order! This applies to subscription licenses in the Central area. This change does not apply to hardware products.
Non-activated licenses - the subscription term start date will automatically be reset to the date when the order processing was completed by Sophos.
Hardware products - hardware warranty term starts when Sophos completes the order processing! Subscription licenses are not affected.

This support license extends your Sophos switches with the additional feature of managing your devices via Sophos Central. Also included is a fast advance replacement of your Sophos switches in case of a defect. The included 24x7 phone support and the latest firmware updates complete the package.
If the license expires before renewal, management via Sophos Central is set to "read-only mode" - i.e. you can only view the interface, but cannot make any changes via it.
