The FortiClient Agent is only available in a sliding scale of 25, 500 or 10,000 clients. If you need more clients, you can combine these items as you wish until you reach the desired client count.
Please note that for the Telemetry and Compliance Service, the version of the FortiClient and the FortiOS of your FortiGate must match. Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 or later is required to run the FortiClient Enterprise Management Server (EMS). The EMS is already included in the license and does not need to be licensed separately.
With the FortiClient Zero Trust Network Agent (FortiClient ZTNA) you ensure that every endpoint in your network can securely access your corporate network. Communication between the endpoint and your network takes place through an encrypted VPN tunnel, either via SSL or IPsec, allowing a minimum level of control. After appropriate verification, you have access to the appropriate session. Die Einbindung einer Multi-Faktor-Authentisierung, beispielsweise mit Hardware- oder Software-basierten FortiToken, bietet zusätzliche Sicherheit beim Zugriff auf Ihr Netzwerk. With the ZTNA, you benefit from a secure remote access solution and ensure controlled access to applications with uniform policies, regardless of the location of the end device.
Centralised management via FortiClient EMS or FortiCloud
The FortiClient Enterprise Management Server (FortiClient EMS is a management and deployment tool that automatically checks whether your endpoints comply with all the compliance policies you have defined. You can conveniently change compliance configurations and roll them out immediately to all FortiClient instances. You also have the option to set up new FortiClient instances or upgrade an existing one. This includes the configuration of VPN tunnels. During operation, FortiClient EMS automatically creates log files that inform you about all events on your end devices at any time. It is also possible to manage the FortiClient EMS via the FortiCloud.Please note the choice of management options when selecting your licence.
