Ruckus R750 Acces Point
The Ruckus R750 is our high-end dual-band, dual-current Wi-Fi 6 AP that supports 8 spatial streams (4x4:4 in 5GHz, 4x4:4 in 2.4GHz). The R750 with OFDMA and MU-MIMO capabilities efficiently manages up to 1024 client connections with increased capacity, enhanced coverage and performance in ultra-high density environments. In addition, the multi-gigabit Ethernet ensures that the backhaul is not a bottleneck to the full use of available Wi-Fi capacity.
The End User WatchDog Support Per SmartZone/ virtual SmartZone AccessPoint licence gives you the option of licensing and supporting the access points connected to your controller. This licence includes first-class technical support from Ruckus around the clock, 365 days a year. It also includes important software updates and upgrades specifically for your access points.
Please note that this licence is only valid for the connected access points. A separate licence must be purchased for support of the controller itself. It is recommended to purchase licences with a similar duration to simplify administration during renewals and ensure smooth operation.
With this licence, you can ensure that your access points are always up to date and that you have reliable technical support at hand to solve potential problems quickly and efficiently. It provides comprehensive support for your wireless infrastructure and enables you to maximise the performance of your network components.

The R750 with OFDMA and MU-MIMO capabilities efficiently manages up to 1024 client connections with increased capacity, enhanced coverage and performance in ultra-high density environments. In addition, multi-gigabit Ethernet ensures that backhaul is not a bottleneck to fully utilising available Wi-Fi capacity.
Enterprise wireless requirements are also moving beyond Wi-Fi with BLE, Zigbee and many other non-Wi-Fi wireless technologies. Enterprises need a unified platform to eliminate network silos. The Ruckus AP portfolio is equipped to solve these challenges through wireless convergence.
The R750 features integrated IoT radios with built-in BLE and Zigbee capabilities. In addition, the R750 is a converged access point that allows customers to seamlessly integrate new wireless technologies into the USB port.
The R750 meets the increasing demands of customers in transit hubs, auditoriums, conference centres and other high-traffic indoor spaces. It is the perfect choice for data-intensive streaming multimedia applications such as 4K video transmissions, while supporting latency-sensitive voice and data applications with high quality of service requirements. The R750 is also easy to manage through Ruckus' physical and virtual cloud management options.
In conjunction with the Ruckus Ultra-High-Density Technology Suite, found only in the Ruckus Wi-Fi portfolio, the R750 significantly improves network performance through a combination of patented wireless innovations and learning algorithms that include a range of features:
- Air Time Decongestion: Increases average network throughput in highly congested environments.
- Pervasive Client Management: Reduces interference traffic from disconnected Wi-Fi devices
- BeamFlex+ Antennas: Extended coverage and optimised throughput with patented multi-directional antennas and radio patterns
Whether you deploy ten APs or ten thousand, the R750 is also easy to manage with Ruckus' physical and virtual management options.
Your benefits:
- CONNECT MORE DEVICES AT THE SAME TIME
Improve device performance by enabling more simultaneous device connections with built-in 8 spatial streams (4x4:4 in5GHz, 4x4:4 in 2.4GHz), MU-MIMO and OFDMA technology. - HIGH DENSITY PERFORMANCE
Provides an exceptional end-user experience in large conference rooms, general corporate spaces and large classrooms with the Ruckus Ultra-High Density Technology Suite. - CONVERGED ACCESS POINT
Enables customers to eliminate siloed networks and unify WiFi and non-WiFi wireless technologies into a single network by using built-in BLE and Zigbee, as well as expanding to all future wireless technologies via the USB port.
MULTI-GIGABIT ACCESS SPEED
Optimised multi-gigabit Wi-Fi performance delivered via the built-in 2.5GbE port for connection to multi-gigabit switches. - MORE MANAGEMENT OPTIONS
Manage the R750 with physical/virtual devices in the field and control auto provisioning for faster deployment and seamless firmware upgrades. - Improved SECURITY
The latest Wi-Fi security standard with WPA3 and enhanced protection against man-in-the-middle attacks in the most secure way. - MORE THAN WI-FI
Support services beyond Wi-Fi with Ruckus IoT Suite, Cloudpath security and onboarding software, SPoT Wi-Fi location engine and SCI network analytics.
The Unleashed Access Point does not require a dedicated controller to create and manage a WLAN network. Instead, one of the APs acts as a master, taking on the functions of a controller and managing the other APs as members. The unleashed access points are suitable for smaller WLAN deployments where only a small number of access points are required. Leashed access points, on the other hand, require an external controller, such as a ZoneDirector or a SmartZone, to create and manage a WLAN network. The Leashed APs are suitable for larger WLAN deployments where a large number of APs are required.
